Mattresses are a bit firm and my daughter expressed a bit of discomfort with hers.

We were also pleasantly surprised by the size, appearance and amenities in our suite: the rooms are generous in size, with more than enough room to store your belongings also containing full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave - everything you need. We were pleasantly surprised by the location, just across from the Reading Terminal Market and a half block up the street from the Convention Center. Traveling with my daughter for a working weekend in Philadelphia, we booked a two-double- bed suite at 'Home2'. As I said.expected much more from a Hilton. They have a great location but they need to hire more people for the front desk, housekeepers to clean and breakfast servers to keep up with demand and clean the tables. On the positive side the beds were comfortable however, the towels could use some Downey.very scratchy. Our room faced the parking garage and all we heard all night were car alarms going off. They can say they serve breakfast but definitely have had a lot better. No one wiping tables after hotel guests leave the table.had to clean your own spot. My husband had to turn the cereal knob 20 times to get enough cereal to fill a bowel. Did have breakfast sandwiches but had to nuke them. My second disappointment came with breakfast.omelets in paper bags to nuke.no scrambled eggs or meat. But that is not the hotel's fault.just ignorant patrons. This is a newer hotel but the previous patrons had done a number on our room.not as new looking as expected. Coming back from the flower show, we found a maid's cart and house keeper still working at 9:00 PM. That was my first complaint.why weren't rooms ready by check in time. Finally closer to 3:30, we were able to register. Got to the counter and by now it was after 3 and told again, my room was not ready as were most of the people in line.

Only 2 people on duty.although a third receptionist did arrive a little later. At 2:55, a large line formed as everyone tried to check in. More and more people were arriving and told the same thing. Arrived 45 minutes prior to the 3 pm check in and asked if we could check in.sometimes if the room is ready, hotels let you. Great location when going to the Philadelphia Flower Show, right across the street. We guess this is what is expected in a Big City. We usually pay nothing extra for parking. The cost is $37 per day if you don't move the car and $43 a day if it is moved. You can pay at the hotel during checkout. The parking is in a parking garage next door not owned by the hotel. Price of rooms were within range of our budget, but we have to mention the extra costs of parking if you are here with a vehicle. Our breakfast was included in the lobby with a selection of Cereal's, Egg Omelets, Small waffles, tea, coffee, and juices. Everything was clean and the maid was friendly and helpful.

The bed, was comfortable and bathroom was a shower no tub. The clerks were friendly and our room was a Queen with full kitchen. Our check-in was a little rocky but we finally received our room after a 40 minute wait. This Home2 Suites Hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Philadelphia Convention Center and The Reading Terminal Market.
